Healthwatch Northamptonshire is currently recruiting new Board members!
Healthwatch Northamptonshire is currently looking for up to three new Board members. In order to represent our community more fully we are particularly keen to recruit members who are of working age, and/or live in Corby, Daventry or Brackley and surrounding areas.
This is a voluntary role and reasonable expenses are paid. The Healthwatch Northamptonshire Board is the public face of Healthwatch Northamptonshire and takes decisions about how Healthwatch Northamptonshire should work to improve the health and social care outcomes of the county’s population. Board members need a range of skills and expertise as well as the right experience and characteristics. You need to be a good communicator and capable of playing an active role at board meetings. Ideally, you should have good analytical skills, some understanding of research, awareness of health and social care issues and an understanding of the importance of public involvement in these issues. You should have some experience of health and/or social care services, either from personal experience or a paid role.
