New Healthwatch Northamptonshire Manager
We are pleased to announce that our former Healthwatch Officer, Becky Calcraft, will now be the Healthwatch Northamptonshire Manager.
Becky’s former role involved the recruiting and supporting of our fantastic team ofvolunteers who serve on Healthwatch Northamptonshire’s planning group and board. Now, Becky will be focusing more on staff and project management and representing Healthwatch Northamptonshire at meetings, while still being involved in her former responsibilities through managing Healthwatch Northamptonshire staff, including the new Healthwatch Officer, once recruited. Becky has a long-standing interest in community and wellbeing. Prior to joining Healthwatch Northamptonshire Becky worked for a voluntary organisation supporting older people. She has experience in community development and has worked as a social worker and care homes inspector. Becky has a PhD in social policy and worked as a Research Fellow in the Centre for Social Work at the University of Nottingham, researching the issue of whistleblowing in services for adults with learning disabilities. She also taught on health and social care courses for the Open University for 10 years.
