We are happy to announce that we have published our 2022-2023 Annual Report.

This report is a comprehensive summary which highlights the key actions and projects we completed throughout the last financial year. This report gives insight into our yearly priorities and is a showcase of our impacts on the community, with a critical focus on ensuring that the public’s voice is championed.

Highlights of 2022-23: 

  • We visited both Northampton and Kettering General Hospital unannounced after issues were raised both locally and nationally, and gave our recommendations for improvement.
  • Supporting Young Healthwatch Northamptonshire with their Health and Wellbeing Project in East Northamptonshire.
  • We attended meetings with Integrated Care Northamptonshire (ICN) to develop the 10-year strategy for the county.
  • We worked with the ICN on the development of the new Community Diagnostic Centres, to ensure that they are publicly accessible.
  • Our staff gained the Cyber Essentials accreditation.

How we've made a difference throughout the year:

  • Gathered public feedback on accessing GP appointments to enhance the accessibility of GP services in the county.
  • Advocated for fairer NHS dentistry.
  • Shared key messages about health and social care via our social media accounts.
  • Conducted an Enter and View visit to Corby Urgent Care Centre (CUCC) and made several minor recommendations for improvement
  • Worked with Change Grow Live (CGL) to improve their service to support substance misusers.
