Also, we are proud to announce that our fantastic Young Healthwatch team will be delivering a presentation about their achievements with regards to shaping health and social care locally.
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Young Healthwatch emotional wellbeing survey
Our award-winning Young Healthwatch group is launching the new survey to find out more about young people’s emotional wellbeing. If you are 11-19 based in Northamptonshire, please take part in the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/wellbeingnorthants
Young Healthwatch Northamptonshire is the first group in the county to win the Investing in Children Award!
We are extremely proud of our young volunteers who keep inspiring us. Their desire to create positive impact around health and social care locally is a proof that their voices are truly heard, and as a result, awarded accordingly. With over 500 members, the Investing in Children is an organisation which provides research and participation services to other organisations that work with children and young people and is very committed to their human rights.
Find out more about local consultations and have your say!
Local and national health and social care organisations often want to know what you think about changes they want to introduce. Some of the issues that these organisations are currently asking could affect people who use health and social care services, so it is important that you have your say.
Thank you to all that attended and made our Annual Meeting a great opportunity to network. Attendees found out more about what Healthwatch Northamptonshire achieved in 2016/17 and heard from Jane Mordue from Healthwatch England.
Our vision: Healthwatch Northamptonshire will be a strong, resolute and independent community champion. We will give local people a voice and work in partnership to influence the design and quality of health and social care provision so that all local people have an opportunity for an improved quality of life.
